Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Server to join our team at our Charlottesville location. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly- Provide detailed information about menu items and daily specials- Ensure orders are prepared according to customer specifications and restaurant standards- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints with a positive attitude- Follow health and safety regulations
Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience as a server or in a customer service role- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work under pressure- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
